Description

Hi this is my latest painting and one of my most complicated painting to date. This is called "After Hygieia (Medicine) by Gustav Klimt ", my homage to Klimt's painting he did for the University of Vienna. This is my interpretation of the masters painting, best known for the painting called "The Kiss". below is the history of how this painting came about and how it was destroyed by the Nazis. This is before I encase it in resin as if I tried to take a picture of it, the resin acts and looks like a sheet of glass and would reflect the light and I couldn't get a decent picture to post. But in the flesh it would look super glossy and colours enhanced.
