My artistic dimension is complete, and to the work of an architect I work as an artist.I work with traditional techniques (engraving, painting and drawing), but I love experimenting and using the most contemporary techniques, such as drawing and digital painting.
Originally from Puglia, she moved to Rome in 2001 and then graduated in Architecture. If at the origin of his formation there is attention to human bodies and anatomy, deepened during the first studies of painting, with the entrance to the Faculty of Architecture becomes part of his reflection also the landscape, the construction. Not an unresolved antithesis between nature and artifice, on the contrary: as reported by Lorenzo Tunesi in “The Cities of Linda Aquaro”, these are “architectural decompositions with an anthropomorphic flavor and destructured anatomies with a strong architectural connotation”.
The passion for drawing and painting led her to explore new techniques, also experimenting with commingles and interactions between them, and more contemporary languages, such as drawing and digital painting, while also maintaining the activity of architect in parallel.
His artistic dimension is above all that of the craftsman, focused on know-how, on the gesture that becomes an essential act of a series of well-executed processes and procedures (as in chalcographic printing and cyanotype). Dimension that causes the observer to interface with the genesis of his works whether it be human faces, tangles of streets, portions of the sky cut out from urban shapes. His artistic dimension is above all that of the craftsman, focused on know-how, on the gesture that becomes an essential act of a series of well-executed processes and procedures.
