Giulia Spernazza (1979) was born and currently lives in Rome. In 2008 she obtained a BA degree in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Rome. Since 2011 she has held regular exhibitions at the Faber Gallery in Via dei Banchi Vecchi 31, Rome, as well as exhibiting with RvB Arts Gallery, also in Rome, Vernice Art in Bari and Artistica snc in Forlì. Her principle exhibitions in 2018 include “La Natura Esposta” at the Spazio Imago Gallery in Arezzo, “Natura Pura”, a solo exhibition at the Faber Gallery (Rome), “The Secret Garden”, a group exhibition at RvB Arts Gallery (Rome). In 2017 she created a site-specific installation for Montefiascone’s former prison and held the exhibition “Cosimo” at the RvB Arts Gallery. In 2015 the Faber Gallery exhibited her works in “Il Coraggio dell’Abbandono”. In 2014 she participated in the Adrenaline Award 3.0 “Il Mio Paradiso”, at Macro Testaccio in Rome, and at the Civic Museum ‘Umberto Mastroianni’ in Marino (province of Rome). In 2013 she exhibited at the 64th Michetti Prize “La Bellezza Necessaria” at the Michetti Museum in Francavilla a Mare, and in 2012 she participated in the group show “La nuova era tra simbolismo e tecnologia” with other finalists in the Adrenalina Award, at Macro Testaccio (Rome). For the Adrenalina project in 2010 she participated in the group show “L’Intimo mistico dell’Opera” at the Centrale Montemartini Museum, Rome.
