My painting is a suspended space inside which the visible world communicates with the unseen world. It is inspired by an interest in the Ineffability in terms of perception of light and represents a meditation on the beauty of Impermanence. I make art to achieve harmony within myself.

ACADEMIC
1982 Master’s Degree in Fine Arts (Conservation and Restoration of paintings) at Central Restauration Institute (ICR), Rome.
1983 Specialization in Fine Arts (Conservation Restoration of stone materials) at ICR, Rome
1984 Master’s Degree in Modern Art History at ‘La Sapienza’ University in Rome.
1987 Post-graduate Specialization (Phd) in Medieval and Modern Art at Urbino University.
BIO
A long institutional career in Italian Ministery of Cultural Heritage as an Art Historian and trainer Conservator Restorer of wall paintings.
I’ve worked on Cimabue’s, Giotto’s and Raphael’s frescoes.
As an artist I exhibited in solo and in group shows in Europe: Italy (Rome, Milan, Turin) Denmark (Copenhagen), Czech Republic (Prague), and in U.S. A. (New York) since 2009, in public space (Contemporary Art Museums, IIC Italian Institutes of Culture, Theatres, Churchs) and in private galleries and architectural studios.
I’ve been in permanence and represented by: Agora Gallery (N.Y.), Rossocinabro Gallery (Rome), Ariele Gallery (Turin).
I was finalist in 2011 in the International Prize ItaliaArte, Villa Gualino, Turin.
I also recived artistic merit certificates.
My works are in Italian and in European private collections.
