Very cheerful, helpful and love to travel around the world learning and seeing as often as I can. I am willing to things experience anything I can to help enrich my life and give inspiration to create my artwork.
Based on the piece has a collage work of supported type.
The material of the work is Korean traditional paper "HANJI".
The main job is Hanji collage, which is a mixture of Korean paper and sometimes also using wires as combination. Also I create sculptures using the wood as main material and apply stencil technique on Hanji.
Chickens that appear frequently in my work are our lives and present myself too.
The main reason for making chicken is the bird of the sun that opens the dawn by the crying of the chicken, and it implies symbolism as the existence of dawn which is bound to darkness and lightness.
The meaning of the chicken in Christianity is Peter's repentance.
The type of chicken I work with always appears in a positive form in a beautiful life and express message of hope.
My artwork shows traditional images and that I want to reinterpret it modernity as a futuristic work.
Hanji has very unique texture that differentiate from other materials and I use that to explore the stereoscopic feeling of objects. I collage the pieces of Hanji paper one by one on.
