    Sasha is a woman’s name, as the artist felt the painting was a feminine entity. Exhibited in the recent solo exhibition “restraining the leopard”, Sasha offers a soft entry into the self, through movement and gentle colour composition. However, the immanent movement it may evoke inside the observer tends to be turbulent and restless.
